Role: behind-the-scenes, website and social media
About me: I am a wife and a mother of 3 young children who retired a few years ago and is constantly searching for meaningful ways to be involved in my community. I love playing tennis, laughing with family and friends and finding the newest local restaurant that serves delicious food
Why I got involved? Cancer has touched my life, and The Wig Exchange seemed like a great opportunity for me to get involved with an organization that provides comfort to women at a time when they need it most
What makes The Wig Exchange special :Strangers helping strangers. The Client Coordinators start out knowing nothing about the women who seek us out, and yet they are willing to share their time and lend an ear listening to stories and sharing their own experiences. The wigs play a role, but the relationship is what makes the impact so profound.
